Where can I talk to someone about Education, General Life, Labor, Law, Marriage, etc. in my own language?

Foreigner consultation are undertaken by the Ibaraki-ken Kokusai Koryu Kyokai (Ibaraki International Association) "Foreigner Consultation Corner"

At the Foreigner Consultation Corner, we not only help foreigners with questions and troubles, but we help also people who live in Ibaraki Prefecture to hire foreigners.

We help you by way of interview, telephone, letter, etc. Our service is free of charge and confidential.

* Subjects: Education, General Life, Labor, Law, Marriage, etc.
* Time: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm
* System: Counseling can be in English, Portuguese, Chinese, Bengali, and Japanese. (A volunteer translator will be the counselor for Persian, Spanish, Thai, Tagalog, and Hangul Languages.)
* Consultation with Lawyers: Free lawyer consultation is provided twice each month by appointment only. The lawyer is from the Ibaraki-ken Bengoshi-Kai (Ibaraki Prefecture Lawyer Association).
