What are the rules to be upheld when living in housing assistance?
(1) Rent
a) Once a year the rent will be checked according to your income
b) You must show certificate of proof on your income, during your stay in this housing
(2) After 3 years of renting if your income has grown, you must vacate this housing. At that time you must pay additional rent until you find new housing. After 5 years of renting if your income has grown, you must pay more than the government housing rent
(3) Your rent must be paid by the 25th of each month
(4) Rent and these additional charges (depending on housing) must be paid monthly
a) Repair charges for tatami and fusuma, etc.
b) Upkeep for plumbing
c) Electrical fees for hallway and stair lighting, etc. (public lighting)
(5) If the following rules are not followed you will be asked to vacate the housing:
a) No sub-letting
b) If rent is unpaid for over 3 months
c) If you do not live on the premises for over 15 days
d) If any damaged is done to the facilities
e) If you remodel the housing
f) If you destroy the surrounding environment or disturb other tenants
(6) No pets of any kind are permitted
(7) If your housing doesn't have a parking spot, please do not park in other areas
(8) Please be friendly to your neighbors and have a fun life
