Current exhibition

4/7–5/20 Pop Art 1960s to 2000

Pop art

Originating from America in the 1960s, the style quickly became popular all around the globe. With the advert of computer graphic designing, "Pop Art" is coming back into vogue again.

This exhibition will display over 130 pieces from more than 40 pop artists such as Lichtenstein, Warhol, Hering, Muiz, and Kappos.

The Ibaraki Modern Art Museum always puts on a great exhibition, so I recommend to go and check this one out too.
