Where can I find a job?
There are a number of options for finding jobs in Japan. Searching online is an easy option for finding English teaching work, but if you want something else its slim pickings. Try typing "japan jobs" into your favorite search engine to see what comes up.
Another option is to try "Hello Work," the Public Employment Security Office. These offices provide free employment placement/vocational guidance, support for entering polytechnic schools, and information about employment insurance benefits.
There are a number of Hello Work offices in Ibaraki; however the following three in Mito, Shimodate and Tsuchiura provide support in languages other than Japanese on particular days.
