What we are

The E-Ibaraki Report is a monthly online newsletter (which until 2005 was a print newsletter, hence the addition of the "E‑" to the title of the online version) by and for English-speaking residents of Ibaraki Prefecture(external link), Japan, supported by the prefecture's International Affairs Division(external link).

We've got news about events, travel ideas, Ibaraki history and other information, helpful articles about all aspects of living as a foreigner in Ibaraki, interviews, and all sorts of reader-submitted content. This Report is a community effort, so we're always welcoming contributions, in either English, or Japanese which we will translate into English. Please contact us if you would like to contribute, or have any questions or comments.
