Dear readers of e-Ibaraki Report,
Hi everyone. What a cold year this is for Ibaraki! Some Ibaraki elders told me a few times it used to be much colder half a century ago, still we are experiencing a sudden wave of cold many of us do not seem used to in Ibaraki (I cannot speak for the mountain areas though...) This is undoubtedly the coldest I have known in five years living in this prefecture... This is March and it doesn't really feel like Winter is leaving us yet. Anyway ganbaru a bit more people, and hopefully Hanami will be a great time to enjoy in a few weeks!
