Message from the Editor
In the past few months, our website has changed a little bit. We are lucky to have a computer scientist helping us progressively improve the quality of the site. The changes are not noticeable now but hopefully they will be in a few months.
We try to contribute at least 8 articles every month. Visitors to the E-Ibaraki Report click on our link for various reasons. They want to travel in the prefecture but do not know where to go and/or how to go. Some of them search for practical answers to day-to-day issues. We are still far away from meeting some of these high expectations. The initial goal of this site was to entertain but increasingly we are trying to give answers and an effective orientation to those who feel lost in translation with all the Japanese documentation. For this reason, the shape of this website could change in the coming months. The change will be slow but we do hope it will be more useful for foreign residents and tourists in the future.
When visitors click, they want the info right away because they do not have time to lose or because it is an emergency. We will be working for a more responsive E-Ibaraki Report. We thank you for reading us and for submitting articles. Your Ibaraki stories are a valuable source of information and entertainment. We do appreciate your voluntary work and are always happy to put them on line.
Don't forget to enjoy the fall leaves view of November.
