Message from the Editor

Happy New Year to you readers. This is 2008. This summer many of us will probably watch the Olympic games in China. I know it is early to talk about it but I assumed that by entering the word "summer," you might feel less cold (if you are). Also, Ibaraki welcomed last November, not as famous but still worth a word, the 20th Annual All-Japan Senior Olympics. The opportunity was too nice to be missed. So I hope you will like the highlight on those Nenrinpics (年輪りんピック). The event is so unusual that we had a French professional photographer visit, eager to cover the topic. I am sure this will be very eye-opening and I hope it will give you similar ideas for your home countries.
