Happy birthday to all people born on February 29th! Yes, 2008 is a leap-year so if you have a friend that can celebrate his or her birthday only once every 4 years, do not forget to wish him/her the best!
I know it is not especially a great time to go out with such low temperatures but have a look at the few events around you in February. Doll festivals and bean-throwing festivals are taking place near you. Go and enjoy.
Finally do not miss the "Isobushi" contest. I went there myself last year, not really to sing (I am sure many people are thankful for that), and I definitely recommend it.
