Recently, Japans first case of the Human Swine Influenza emerged in Kobe city. Due to this, Ibaraki Prefecture has implemented a 24hr/day telephone support service (029-301-4001), and we are accepting calls from all residents of Ibaraki.
If you have symptoms such as fever or a cough, and you are concerned that you may have contracted the Human Swine Influenza, please contact your local public health center by phone before directly visiting a medical institution.
-The public health center staff will direct you to the appropriate medical institution. Please follow the directions given by the public health center.
-When visiting a medical institution, make sure to cover your mouth by using a mask or handkerchief.

The swine flu has made its entry in Japan a couple of months ago. As a consequence, it is recommended to pay even more attention to your hygiene. You probably arlready noticed in toilets a variety of signs explaining how to how wash your hands effectively. Follow these instructions and do not forget to use soap ;)
Well, the flu is scaring a lot of people out there but I suggest you make the most of every day and responsibly. Influenza is nothing knew so let's just be prepared to avoid it. As we enter July, we are getting nice excuses to change our mind. Why not enjoy the beautiful nature of Ibaraki this weekend ?
