Our prefecture is located in northeastern part of Kantoh region. Along with the ocean, more than 180km Sea shore is spread. All around there are Fukushima prefecture to the north, Tochigi prefecture in next to the west, and there are Saitama prefecture and Chiba prefecture is to the southern part.

There are 83 cities, towns and villages in our prefecture and more than 3million people are living in this prefecture.

It has about 6,000 square kilometers and it is 24th largest in the country in Japan, having a character of flat land.
