The “Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games Ibaraki Promotional Committee” is founded to better contribute Ibaraki Prefecture’s effort to the success of Tokyo 2020 Games through “All Ibaraki”.

 

Our goal is to foster the Olympic spirits among the residents, provide heart-warming hospitality to visitors from all over the world, and prepare a safe and secured environment for both athletes and audience to participate in the games. For this, we will work in close cooperation starting with Tokyo Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games and with other related organizations. Together we will continue to carry out plans for the torch relay, transportation system, security, emergency medical support and environmental beautification.

 

At the same time, we are also working to promote the prefecture as host for pre-game training camps as the Olympic and Paralympic games will serve as an opportunity for international communication and regional revitalization. Through this, we will create beneficial legacies with positive innovation in various fields.
